Company Information

What separates you from other maintenance companies?

Care: Our team members care about your property and leave every property looking fantastic upon completion of the service.

Convenience:  We provide spring, summer, fall, and winter property services under one roof. We bill automatically by credit card.

Communication: We notify you when your scheduled weed control or fertilization date is. We let you know your scheduled day of the week for our lawn mowing service. We notify you when crews are dispatched for winter services. We keep you updated if we are running behind schedule or if there are any weather delays.

We are one of the only maintenance companies to provide the 3 big services all under a single company: Lawn cutting, weed control, and tractor snow blowing/snow plowing.

Our locally owned and operated company can provide a more personal approach alongside better service.

Are you a local company? How long have you been in business?

Maximum Lawn Care Inc. is 100% locally owned and operated. The owner, Dillan, was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario. We have been in business since 2011 and have quickly become one of the top maintenance companies in the Greater Sudbury region.

Do you use your own equipment? What if your Equipment breaks down?

We have our own fleet of residential and commercial equipment. We use only top of the line Toro commercial grade lawnmowers, as well as Boss snow plows. We service this equipment regularly to ensure it is providing our customers with reliable, top of the line service. In the event of a breakdown or service, we have back-up equipment. It is a Maximum Lawn Care Inc. policy to never use any of our customers equipment or tools.

Does your company have any guarantees?

Yes, we guarantee your complete satisfaction, if you are unsatisfied at any point we offer free service calls to fix the situation. If we are still unable to satisfy you completely we will refund you.

We also have a 7:00 am and 5:00 pm guarantee for our winter services. If there is 5cm of snow accumulation at 10 pm we will have you cleared out by 7:00 or your trip is free. If there is another 5cm of snow by 10 am we will have you cleared out by 5 pm or your visit is free.

I have never dealt with you before. Do I have to pay up front?

Many new customers are hesitant to pay up front and that is completely understandable. We do not require up front payment for any of our services.

Summer Services

How much does your Lawn Mowing service cost?

Our minimum price is $30.00+hst per cut but varies drastically depending on services and property type. We can typically give estimates right over the phone based on square footage so you don’t have to wait weeks to get your estimate.

How much does your Snow Plowing service cost cost?

Pricing for a 1-6 car driveway is $700.00 + HST seasonally or $30.00 on a per visit agreement. Our minimum price is for residential plowing is $30 + HST per visit. Shoveling and any walkway salting would be extra.

I don’t need my lawn cut every week. What can I do?

We accept bi-weekly customers that only require a few cuts per season. While you go to camp or on vacation, it is important to keep the illusion of presence in the household. We do anything we can to help customers with this issue.

Weekly customers that request a bi-weekly cutting schedule are charged a surcharge of 50% for the week that is skipped to match our bi-weekly price.

What does an aeration do for my lawn and how often should I get this service?

A core aeration alleviates soil compaction, by digging through the thatch and pulling small plugs of soil out of the lawn. Any excessive thatch can be dangerous to your lawn. Within that layer of thatch, most lawn diseases and insects accumulate and flourish. By aerating your lawn every 1-2 years (maximum, any longer and you are depriving your lawn), you are ensuring the growth and health of your lawn, while also increasing the effectiveness of overseeding and fertilizer treatments.

What does de-thatching do for my lawn?

Thatch is a accumulation of decomposed grass between the soil and the living grass. This can become troublesome for the growth and health of your lawn if it exceeds half an inch in depth. Our dethatching service removes excess thatch, allowing the maximum amount of water, oxygen, and nutrients to reach the roots of your grass.

Should I mow after a fertilizer treatment?

You should mow prior to  granular treatments, however mowing after will only reduce the effectiveness of the treatment, not have any harmful effects. Liquid treatments such as weed control, you should allow 24-48 hours after the application.

When do you servicemy driveway? Will it be cleared before I have to go to work?

Our service timing depends on Mother Nature. If the snow fall begins in the evening and persists throughout the night, your property will be cleared prior to you waking up in the morning. As you know, sometimes the snow fall does not even begin until the morning. If the snowfall would only continue until early afternoon, it would be cleared before you arriving home from work, but if it persisted all afternoon, your property would be serviced in the late evening/early morning.

What happens when you measure the snow at 10 am and 10 pm?

When we measure the snowfall at 10 PM or AM we send out an email alert to notify you of 3 possible things:
1. 5 cm of snowfall has accumulated and we are dispatching our crews. You would therefor be cleared out by 7 AM or 5 PM – guaranteed or your trip is free!
2. Less than 5 cm of snowfall has fallen, but we predict 5 cm of snow to have fallen by (for example) 2 am, therefore we will dispatch our crews at 2 am but we would not be able to accommodate everyone by 7:00 am.
3. Less than 5 cm of snowfall has fallen, and it seems likely that less than 5 cm of snow will fall during the storm. In this case, we will keep you updated with an email alert eventually notifying you the event is over, or that we are dispatching our crews.

I don’t need my driveway serviced every storm. Can you help me?

Please give us a call when you require service and we can clear your driveway or commercial lot after our regularly contracted customers. For the best value (price and service-wise) we recommend you sign up for our regular, uninterrupted service.
